School Visits & Prices

Every Pep the Poet visit is tailored to your school, your children and what you would like to achieve from the day.

Full-Day School Visit – £395

A full day gives you the greatest flexibility and can include a whole-school assembly, poetry performances, writing workshops and sessions with different year groups throughout the day.

Half-Day School Visit – £245

Ideal for smaller schools or schools looking for a shorter programme of poetry performances and workshops.

Travel

Travel is charged at 45p per mile, calculated on the round trip from Rugeley, Staffordshire.

For visits further afield where an overnight stay is required, an additional £75 accommodation contribution may apply. This will always be discussed and agreed before the booking is confirmed.

Good to Know

Pep the Poet operates as a sole trader and is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to the prices shown.

All fees and expenses will be clearly agreed before your booking is confirmed, so there are no unexpected costs.

International Bookings

International visits are individually arranged and fees will be agreed directly with the school.

A 50% deposit of the agreed fee is required to secure an international booking, with the remaining balance payable as agreed with the school.

The host school is responsible for the cost and arrangement of flights, local travel and transfers and suitable accommodation for the duration of the visit. All arrangements will be discussed and agreed in advance.
